Discuss the Debenhams sale

Hi Everyone
Does anyone know whether Debenhams have put suitcases on sale?
I popped into a branch a few weeks ago and the salesman was keen on pushing their own brand called Tripp. I had never heard of them before but on face value, they looked pretty decent although the quality can only be tested after using them.
I was looking at the ultra lite range cabin case carry on (£59.99) and a medium sized case (£45.00)
Thanks0 -

If you buy something online that is 50% off or more, you have to return it by Royal Mail or Courier to get a refund (both options free), you can't do it instore.
If you buy something in the shop that is 50% off or more you can only exchange it or get a gift card. You won't get a refund unless you paid using a debenhams card.
So make sure there is something you could exchange it for if you change your mind!0 -

Tripp always seem to have offers on, and they are included when they do the 20% days etc too. We have tripp luggage and have had no problems, the only niggle was the little padlocks that come with them are pants and can easily be opened without a key. That said, decent padlocks aren't expensive and we just replaced them. We bought ours in the Xmas sale and they went down to 70% off.0 -
I went shopping in Debenhams at Xmas, bought three Medium size shirts, but one of them was more like XL, when i returned to get it changed, it was out of stock and they insisted i take a voucher to purchase the shirt from another branch, I explained that i would prefare a refund, but they insisted that was their policy, It later transpired that that particular shirt was discontinued and was told i could use the voucher to purchase another item, and i insisted i wanted my money back, after tweleve emails and three letters to their head office in London and five months later complaining, I finally got my money back, and that is the end of my shopping at Debenhams, there is way to many shops that are more appreciative of my custom0
