after another 20 minutes on the telephone to Job Centre Plus actually gets a result - I should get some money by the end of the month - Hurrah! Small victories mean so much!

Hell no! Its wont be a victory when you see the flippin phone bill.

£15 last bill alone for calls to the DWP to sort out their !!!!-ups.
  • I spent an hour on the telephone before my "victory", but it was short-lived - When I visited JCP I was told I was entitled to sweet FA.

    Anyway - BR

You know you are BR, when you cannot afford DDs 15th birthday this week AND food shopping for the family, despite saving for it; cos the savings went on petrol and costs for a 100mile round trip for OH to see his consultant about his hip replacement that someones OH forgot to mention the location so the BR in question didn't know that they were supposed to save money for this trip in the first place.....

I have managed to squeeze in both the shopping and birthday pressies though. (Cos I am a SuperMum!!)

you still find it hard to sleep properly and (me) wake up with the feeling you have been grinding your teeth all night

you have a cold or sore throat but buying essential food is more important than getting medicine, it will get better in its own time after all!

I've got a couple of lempsip things I could post to you if you needed them?

He is frivolous! Couldn't he put up with his hip pain a bit longer. btw I have an excellent hip doctor that uses materials that last a lifetime - no need for the 10 year renewal. Not that I need a hip replacement I just seem to have friends who do.

Aw thanks very much skylight, appreciate the offer, I am drinking hot water and smartprice honey! lol! it is helping though, it's much better. Maybe I will resort to the kiddies paracetemol sachets if it gets worse - I think I would need to have about six though for it to have any effect. :rotfl:

well that amused me for 2hrs today........my experiences with br

when the chips are down u find out who ur real friends are....

gone from splitting up & having to leave my home, to accident & incapacitated, to bankrupt & losing job, to no family speaking to me (stuck up snobs).......to now feeling a sense of relief from it & them ALL.

Sometimes having nothing is far more valuable....LIFE BEGINS AFTER BR.....
