Halifax Online - Cardcash and upgrade

Well it does (or should) work like that because other people have reported on this forum that when they have changed account type, e.g. from the High Interest Current Account to Reward account they get a new card issued but their account number and sort code stay the same. I can't vouch for whether the staff at the Halifax always process an upgrade like that, but it is certainly possible.
No, it's possible to change between any full current account (e.g. High Interest, Reward, Ultimate Reward, Student) and keep the same sort code and account number, but this doesn't work Cardcash and Easycash accounts. For these, a new application must be made.0
