    I've been Money Tipped!
If you don't mind me asking, are you due on? I only ask because I was leaking the other day then period started the following day, so GP has put that down to 'increased hormone levels'.

But I did go get myself checked out anyway

I had milk in between my babies, but I breastfed for alot longer than you (1 year, then 2 years). But this was only occasionally in a warm bath and usually around my time of the month and only up to about 18 months after I stopped BF.
Breast tissue can be stimulated to produce milk even when not pregnant, I saw an adopted baby who was being breastfed (the mum had never been pregnant just used a breast pump on a regular basis for a few months before the birth), so breast tissue can produce milk at odd times lol. There are other issues that can cause discharge from the nipple, but my health visitor/gp advised me that this looks different from milk and as my hormones were fine it wasn't a problem.
GP can clear up any issues.

    Hi,

I would definately go and see your GP. I've never been pregnant though not for want of trying! However I have had milk discharge too because my prolactin lhormone evels are too high. Stress can cause this but it can also be increased for other reasons. They will do a simple blood test to check this for you.

I am due on at the end of the month usually about the 28th so i'll leave it till then and i'll do another test, if it's negative i'll go to the docs. Thanks guys, i wasn't worried at all as i thought you all would say i'm pg and we have been taking about having another one, but now i am a bit :o.

By the way has anyone used those clear blue things they don't make much sense, certain times of the month and all that i thought you just peed on the stick, at least that's what i done with my last test not sure what one that one was though, .

My boobs leak milk right now, both of them, doctor says it's because of the contraceptive implant in my arm. Doesn't dribble out itself so I'm not too bothered!

Get it checked out if you are concerned but I'd imagine it's just higher hormones or something?!
  • a lot of women leak a long long time after BFing,
because of reasons out of my control i could only breastfeed my son for the first 2 weeks and i can still get milk out of both sides, he is now 16 months old,

i did wonder if i could actually get a full supply up and going with the supply and demand theory... and then i think why the bloody hell would i want to do that??!!
it was a nightmare to get the things to 'dry up' in the first place :D
i need to get out more!

but basically what im saying is its perfectly normal, have a word with your GP if you want but dont stress too much about it,
and dont buy anymore clearblues til you really think you need one
fertilityfriend on ebay are marvelous, next day delivery, 10 strips for £1 and they are all private auctions!
