Oh dear. Has he still got time to get out of that in the 'cooling off period'?
If so, please click on the 'HERE' link in my signature below.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

What is CPS? & CPS phase 2 & what does the divert 1280 do? Sorry for being an idiot!
My husband was with BT but has moved to utilities warehouse.
So he is paying T-Plus (Utility Warehouse) for dearer calls, and £1.50p a month membership (£18 a year for the priviledge of receiving them).0 -

Don't suppose you can prefix 1899 or whatever to the phone number when diverting can you??phoneman44 wrote:From CPS phase 2 if you use call Divert and are currently CPS'd then the call will be pointed to your CPS operators network by BT.
You must however ensure that your CPS provider supports LDLI (last diverting line identity). otherwise the diverted call will fail or be billed incorrectly.
If your CPS operator does not support LDLI, you will need to prefix the divert number with 1280 and connect the diverted call over BT.0 -
