At the end of the day, who is telling you to buy the CD? If you don't like it then fine. No one is forcing you to buy it.

Ronan is a brilliant singer and good on him for trying to raise money for charity. If he sat around and contributed nothing, you would slate him so why slate him for releasing a CD?

You may not like it but other people do. It's raising money for charity and that's all that matters!

Em, you're wrong...he's not a brilliant singer [just listen to this CD and you'll agree]. Have you actually heard any of the tracks??

Not too many 'other people' will be liking it [trust me, even my daughters think it stinks!!]

Yes, it's raising money for "charidee", but 1. that's no excuse for being terrible, and 2. it's not labelled or marketed as a 'charidee CD' [where we all know it's been cobbled together in 3 hours and will be 'less than great']

My advice to others...don't buy this sack of garbage and give the £6.99 direct to charity.

PS..I'm not anti-Ronan [or Boyzone]...just anti-awful CDs.

Posts like this always make me laugh, because no-one can say to another what their musical tastes are or are not! If some one likes Ronans singing voice, then it stands to reason they will like this CD! I however am not a fan, so won't be buying it, but I don't understand the urgency displayed in many posts trying to put people off something they obviously want lol!

I understand what you're saying wrt taste and agree to a large extent.

I guess the issue is that we can make relative judgements, and even with a balanced view it's not as 'good' as his earlier staff ...so even those people that do like his voice will be disappointed [again IMO, but i'm trying to be objective here]. In fact an earlier poster said just that...her/his mum is a fan and was very disappointed with it.

I have yet to hear even fans of Ronan [and there a few [million] apparently!!] say its 'excellent'.......maybe none of them read MSE???
