Cheers Phil I have had a strange start to the week. I reckon they left me the Nova because of the cost of disposal to themselves. Thats how it came accross to me. A slight bit of punishment:eek:

Hmm she's probably sat at the desk manically laughing now lumbering you with the nova....your probably right (suprised she didnt say leave it unlocked somewhere....it would go in under 4 mins here!!)

I reckon your right. She got round to the Nova straight away. I did a lot of the talking and offered some information without being asked, she seemed happy that I did. Being in the question and answer game I was always in control. Having all the documentation laid out all over the front room helped.

At first she wanted three years of trading accounts but after a brief discussion she said don't bother. The suitcases were ready to go, this may have put her off;) She said she hadn't enough money to investigate me further anyway. She had another 3 to speak to today and was knackered.


I will point out that the Birmingham office is overwhelmed with BR cases,so anyone who is in that area will have to wait for OR calls and will in the majority get a phone interview. (Her words not mine)

Hmm its been getting slowly busier as you've seen here.....most OR offices now are telephone interviews including where I filed in Liverpool & they always insisted on FTF interviews...its only RARE cases now it seems that are being called in for FTF

This must be the case all over, the dept are running out of funds or staff or both. I kept her "Hanging on the telephone" longer than she may have liked, but we got on so well;)

I asked her the same, she said " Due to your circumstances No but in 9 months who knows"
I get the feeling that before to long the dept will not be fit for purpose. She asked me early on if my downfall was due to the economic downfall ( she quickly corrected this to recession) If I had of said "Yes" at this point the call would of been dramatically short. I however do like a good Q& A session;)

Hopefully some poor sole who is not as good as me at these events will prosper, as in a short call, being I took most of the afternoon about it.;)

one of the highlights of this board for me is your sense of humour. That was so funny ..... reading the thread through from the wait due to Miss Jones being late to the asking if there was a job for you..... lol

I am pleased that you are keeping the Nova .... wonderful wheels for your street cred ... good stuff, made my day, already!
