The law should be changed so that if it is proven that the NRP has made efforts and wants to see the children but the PWC is withholding contact then that NRP should not be charged any CSA money - that would sort out the PWC's attitude.

The law should be changed, god knows why it is always in favour of the mother, because in many cases, its the father who is trying to do the right thing yet ends up coming off worse. We have tried so much and spent so much time, money and energy trying to get access and she just refuses to let my OH see his child and there's nothing we can do about it, why is the law so biast to mothers!! :mad: sorry for the rant x

i thinkthe law in Scotland is different with regardsto children,as a solicitor once told my OH "Ifthe PWCdoesn't want the children to seethe NRP it's nigh on impossible to see them":mad:

She had one from a previous relationship (which my OH took on and brought up as his own) and then my OH's child and then she had another child whilst they were together however no-ones entirely sure if she's my partners or not.
Its just such a mess and so infuriating :mad: especially given he worked all the hours he could to support her and the children and then she goes and does this to him.

My OH's ex had a kid to someone else when he met her as well!

She got a huge settlement from him and still looking for more. Greedy thru n thru and gets legal aid too:rolleyes:

if he's not sure then why doesn;'t he get the test done?
