please help want to unblock Motorola V545

New to this but someone please help me i have an Orange Motorola V545 but i want it take to take a different sim is this possible?
Please could someone make it easy for me to do this if its possible,Would be really grateful

Just put in new orange sim it says Unregistered sim why?
Can not call from mobile as it wont allow me to ring out.

Hmm, okay.
The best way to unlock a Motorola V545 is to take it to your nearest phone shop and they'll do it for around £5-£10. However - if you've just put a new Orange sim into it and it says "unregistered sim" and won't allow you to ring out, try the steps below:

1. Get someone to call the number of the unregistered SIM.
or
2. Try to dial 999/122 (emergency services) from the phone with the unregistered SIM.

If both of the above fail it means your phone has been blocked. Please PM me if you want more info.

does the unregistered sim work in another phone? if not it prob just needs registering with orange (follow instructions on booklet the sim came with)
a locked moto usually says enter subsidy code
i wouldnt try to dial 999 as a blocked phone can still do it (im told) and it can be traced back to you

im pretty sure orange sims need 2 be regersterd before usin them. i had one years ago and it wouldnt work till i phoned orange up from land line and registered

They do because until they are registered they don't have a number. This is given to you by the operative during registration. There have been a few deals where the cards come working but most need registering.
