hi
As Im having problems unlocking my NEC e313 phone (locked to "3") so I can use an O2 SIM which has £60 odd credit on it Im possibly looking to buy the cheapest possible O2 or unlocked phone that I can find instead
When I say "cheapest possible" I mean exactly that as I hardly use mobiles at all apart from for emergencies or the odd occasion when I travel away from home for an extended period - all I need it for it to make and recieve calls - texting, emails, video calls etc ... are not essential
thanks

IM,
unfortunately Amazon are not currently doing the Nokia 1100 for £19.99 so have a search on ebay to pick one up at a reasonable price. They can be easily unlocked via the sticky at the top of the forum (pm Drahcir, Browntoa, Groover etc)....and then the window licker said to me...0 -
O2 have the NEC343i recon at 34.99, quite a bit more than non O2 Nokias that hopefully unlock. How easy is it to unlock the NEC btw?0

When I wanted a better phone I bought the cheapest on any network then payed £10 to have it unlocked. So far I have had unlocked a Nokia 3330 on T Mobile network and a Sharp GX10i on the Vodafone network. Both now takeant sim card.0

Remember to check that it is unlockable bfore you buy!0

Don't bother unlocking the nec, even if you do, you can only use it for for calls and text messages, you you can't use it for mms or video calls.
I wasted £10 unlocking mine and I might as well not have bothered.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
