......Definately am having purple though and OH is wearing black and a purple brocade waistcoat so it all may end up a bit gothy even with me in white.

I do love the idea of a flash of purple under the dress so theres something a bit cheeky when I pick up my skirts to go up stairs, dance etc.;)

I think that sounds fab......long velvet hooded cloak (think Scottish Widows advert!), purple petticoat & flowers......

I hope the link works as i havent posted links before. I have to say it looks very like the Alfred Angelo one you liked.

shelovestobuystuff - have you chosen anything yet?
  • Not quite. The dress bubbles found above is really good and I also found a watters & watters bridesmaid dress which is just like the aa one in shape and comes in various colours of silk including purples.

Also got a gorgeous plum silk sample fabric from a dressmaker in england ans she does a style I love, not like the aa though but gorgeous too.

I just have to lose more weight and try on those 2 if possible.

  • also found this on ebay available in purple taffeta

I go through phases of liking simpler dresses then sometimes I want a big dress,at leastall the different ones I see that I like are becoming more and more similar, hopefully that means I am getting really close to a final decision now.All my favs will merge into one perfect dress somewhere along the line and that will be it decided.
