    Morning :)

No real moans this morning but I did end things with the guy I was (briefly) seeing over the weekend. The date was nice but a few things happened that made me realise it wouldn't work between us. He was very adult about it, and I feel a bit bad about upsetting him, but I know it would have been worse to string him along.

All my housework is done apart from the ironing (which I don't do while Natasha's here because she's too nosey, gets too close, pulls on the iron lead etc..

    Sooooo......what shall I do today? :D

  • Morning all, dropped Mr.B off to hospital to get his chappie bits sorted out.

As for Lenneth, yep lazy sods, how the hell do you manage to text and be philosophical at the same time? You nearly got a less than philosophical answer back....
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:

I think Linda could tell you more, but from what I could gather he lost some limbs (in Afghanistan, I think) and is now a motivational speaker. He said you shouldn't think 'I hate it when this happens' but instead 'I wish it didn't bother me when this happens'

Chris Moon was the inspirational speaker that i went to see a week ago.
He has been in the Reader's Digest.
He was kidnapped by the Khmer Rouge but managed somehow to save the lives of himself and his guides. (everyone else was executed!!!!)
He then had his right arm and leg blown off while clearing landmines in Mozambique.

Amazing man with a scary looking metal hook hand.
He said instead of saying something like "I wish ......"
To instead say "I wish I didn't mind that....."

    I found that really helpful!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
