it was nice and sunny earlier, now it's grey and windy and looks like it's gonna rain

I have got to sign on this afternoon at the jobcenter and as i've been unemployed for 3 mths, it's gonna be every week for 6 weeks and with someone to go though jobs etc. :undecided

They've stopped making them now - they were a 'limited edition'. :eek:

Just been talking to DD1. Doesn't look as if they can fit me in to see Samuel at all this week. I nearly told her to save my Mothers day card for next year! Getting a little peeved at all the 'understanding' I'm expected to do compared to everyone else. :mad:

It's my 20th birthday today so me and OH are watching daytime TV then going on a bike ride this afternoon, hopefully will be slightly more successful than the last one which involved a lot of mud, most of it on my behind!

I have just watched the Jade Goody thing on This Morning, its really sad and quite scary to be honest, she was only in her 20's. You just don't expect anyone so young to die of something like cancer, it really hits home that we aren't immortal.

The smear test age should have stayed at 18 in my opinion, I've still got 5 years (exactly) to go until my first one.

i know what you mean about Jade, regardless of whether anyone liked her as a person, she made the best of her circumstances thru life and did the only thing she knew to do which was be herself... people were interested enough, so the critics of her way of life, should really be criticsing joe public in general for buying into Jade/jordan etc.....

She's done wonders for cancer smear uptake, so that can only be a good thing i think...

Although I think my OH forgets that I have a mother.....everything revolves around his family....it gets a bit much....

Bookie - why dont you offer to go round and help her by cleaning the house or something - that way you get see DD1 and baby but also fit into some of that dead time and give her a break??
