I get 10% discount in Iceland as hubby works for them, so I do try to go in once a month or so,
best buys for me are pizzas (always some offer on) and great for standby if kids fetch friends round,
chicken breast fillets are 5 for £2.49 and great for SC

I went to Iceland for the first time last week.I was impressed by their prices but most of all by their labelling policy.I bought a 500g pack of wafer-thin chicken(I don't really like it as it is so processed, but it's a lifesaver for packed lunches) not only did it have less strange sounding ingredients than the Tesco version, was cheaper-£2,but best of all it had a clear statement saying 'made on a production line where NO NUTS were present'.The sliced corned beef also had this on.I much prefer this sort of warning than the 'may contain' warnings.
More trips to Iceland are on the cards.0 -

Iceland's not somewhere I've tried, to be honest when they have an ad saying 'all this for a fiver' it makes me wonder how it can possibly be good quality
prepared to be proved wrong though0 -
