"Whoopsies" - do you grab them all or leave some for someone else?

I occasionally buy from my local Tesco whoopsie shelf (its only a small store) so I will have a look and see what's there and if it is anything that I will eat. I try not to buy meat from there though as I prefer to use my butcher but did get two boxes of chicken thighs (I am still eating them) but I will tend to buy things that I wouldnt normally buy too like cream cakes or trifles (yes, I know I can make my own but sometimes a bought trifle is just what you need). I also buy the odd pack of ham and freeze it. I don't go mad like some folks do, plus I always carry a basket around the store so I know that I don't spend and don't overfill it.:D0

Just wondered if anyone else feels they can't take all the reduced items on show if there aren't that many, like in my local Co-op. There was some mince down to half price the other day, about 6 half pound packs which I did take, but felt really greedy when I got to the till and apologised!
Most of us dont get the chance to get any as lots of large Oriental and Asian families tend to get most reduced things at my local shop. They harangue the reducers and barge in very rudely to make sure they get them before we all do.

Ive noticed the whoopsies at tesco are not great, only a small amount off.
Asda and somerfield have much better whoopsies.
Tesco meat etc go down to a 80% reduction during the evening. I managed to get £4 packs of sausages and chicken etc for 80p a pack the other evening about 7.30 - 8.00pm
but do agree Asda's are better. but do find this depends on the person doing the reducing , some better than others in our Asda0 -

the deli and fresh fish and meat had been done tonight by 8 but the reducer was called to take over a till before she had done the bread and prepack items
I dont often go to Tesco but did call in as I had to go past .....
I had already been to Asda and got several bits and as previously mentioned their reductions are much better
parsnips 10p a pack , wiltshire ham and roast pork with stuffing off the deli down to 5p , sliced bread 20p, own bakery bread 10p , whole hot chickens £1.20 and cream cakes 10p
cheap pack ups for a few days :T
and to stay on topic, I dont take everything ..... I like to be fair despite sometimes missing out as I dont and wont push and shove for a whoopsie
