£5 CDWOW Voucher

I received my £5 'voucher' on the 16th and placed my 'in stock' order the same day.
On the 17th I received a confirmation from cd-wow saying that my order will be despatched by first class mail and that I should receive it in 5-7 days (website says that they dispatch within 48 hours). Payment was shown on my Bank statement as being cleared on the 21st.
On the 22nd I received a note saying that the goods had been dispatched (but from their website I cannot find out when) on a 5-7 day delivery!!

This is my first order with cd-wow, and probably the last, and I'm wondering if this is the usual standard of service this 'p*** poor' company offers to their customers, or are they at the moment just a "victim of their own success"

they dispatch within 48 hours not delivered within 48 hours as the reason the items are so cheap is they come from china in have used this company a few time never had a problem

I too have used C D WOW many times with absolutely no problems, Last week I ordered a CD for my DD on the Sunday the CD arrived on Wednesday! I have also found that if you pre order the CD/DVD arrives a few days before the release date!Another good one is Play.com

i preordered harry potter which has just arrived today - i thought if you preordered they were meant to come on the release day??

that's exactly what i spent mine on too, cdwow seem to be releasing them early. they do that quite often since technically post is meant to take a week to come from HK but often it comes in a day or two

I have just made enquiries with CD WOW re pre orders.

They apparently now despatch on the release day, they dont deliver on release day.

This has changed recently because I have pre ordered in the past and the items have arrived a day or two before release day.

I feel really depressed now, not had my Time out or Mirror vouchers (I only sent for one) and never got any. Looking back through this thread some people got 9! How very unfair of CD WOW to even give them to them when they haven't given them to others. I so wanted to buy Revolver which is only £6.99, have to wait for Xmas now.

I am the same - did not get time out vouchers or daily mirror - i did email them but did not get a postitive reply.

In the end i resorted to buying a load on ebay - i know i should not support such people who apply for loads and get loads but the £5 vouchers were on ebay for Buy it Now for £2 - better than nothing.

I forgot about the voucher and just used it and worked fine .
