Rose hope you feel better now. I've been having a scout around, and that particular poster is clearly renowned for being an idiot ( in my eyes, he's a troll ) I think G&B alluded to that earlier. ((hugs)) chick, and I'm sure no-one minds you getting it off your chest here tonight.

Soappie well done for staying calm under pressure. That was some feat. I'm glad the funeral was as good as it could have been. Well done for getting a good result with your headlight. Hope the gin was good.

you had better do as you are told then - rest and plenty [strike]booze[/strike] water!!! try not to scratch! In my ignorance i didnt realise you could get chicken pox 3 times:eek: I thought you only got it twice and then it was shingles or is that measles :rotfl: (((hugs))) anyway and I hope it is only a mild case - if thats possible!
flower dont beat yourself up about the cleaning after all you are working during the day - even if its from home - being self employed you have to still do your 'work' things. You have done loads today.
thriftyscotslass - you have had a busy busy day - well done
rosepink -hope you feel better after your dinner and watching the apprentice. try to ignore that horrible ignorant person you are doing really well. He obviously has never had to take AD's and the benefits they can bring. You dont need that - steer away from him/the thread for a while until you feel up to coping with eejits like that!(((hugs)))
soappie sounds like it was a service befitting a lovely man. whata fiasco with the garage but WELL DONE to you for getting the upper hand - at least you have lights for the next few days - how bl**dy inconvenient though as you now have to re-arrange getting it in for repair - I cant believe they wont know if its the right part until it arrives - beggars belief! I think John would heartly approve of the G&T!!!
gratefulforhelp (((hugs))) the whole family poorly - thats really not fair - hope you all make a speedy recovery. Take it easy honey.

Froddy thats not good - hope you are ok -maybe the after effects of your pain or you could be coming down with a bug:confused: - am sending a big warm squishy ((((hug)))) good news about the girl.
Quillion huge hugs honey - I am so sorry to hear that -I hope you manage to find another job soon - how worrying for you- take care sweetie.
Mudbath hugs for DS - maybe that will help get it out of his system
    SS nice celebration!!!

well I decided not to go into town earlier - will do all that tomorrow after I get back.
Went to Mr A instead and had a leisurely wander around and got a few bits and anda an easy meal for tea. I am definately better as I managed to carry home the shopping with no stops or being breathless:T

    Ditto Toots!

I know where Stripes is. Shes in the back of my car. Have decided i've had enough and am heading north this weekend to see my family and some friendly faces.

My boss returned my call from earlier today and after a tearful conversation told him ive had enough and i hate coming to work. The company have been messing me about in my role for ages and the guy i work with makes my life a misery for fun. Ive told him i want to go home for a break and I wont be back this week.

Hes fab and really supportive, but anyway Stripes heard about all this and asked if i would take her to the see tooty-lady.

Im heading all the way fron South Wales to North East Scotland, so if you flyladies need anything passing along on the way, now is the time to say.

No more flying from me for a few days, but will take my laptop with me and check in xxx

    Hugs xx

I was made redundant for the first time when I was 32 and thought it was going to be a huge disaster and was incredibly stressed. It turns out that it was the best thing that could happen to me, as I had a complete career change, a 30% increase in salary and am much happier and more fulfilled. Apparently once it's happened to you, it's never so stressful again, as you realise it is something you CAN cope with.

Spend some time polishing your CV, and get yourself onto linked in and connected to hex and all her friends... I bet there are loads of recruitment consultants in her network ;)

I went straight to school from work for a finance meeting followed by a governing body meeting, so didn't get back till gone 9 and it's taken me until now to catch up on the thread!

(((hugs))) for Rosepink & froddy & Jo

Well done to soappie for keeping your cool... from their response I'm pretty sure I know how you reacted! Bet they were scared :D

FFP - so pleased you found your ring. Hope you find you love your haircut when you get used to it.

    Have a fabulous holiday rach

Hugs & happy vibes all round. I know I've missed lots of you out, and it's not deliberate, so please forgive me!

Managed to do the bath/tiles/shower curtain this morning. Also walked just under two miles. I've now got my pedometer on, and am going to try to get myself to 10,000 steps a day by the end of April. We've got a work challenge starting in May... and as it's for teams of 7, my team have entered themselves. It's about being active at work, so they give you pedometers and you have to record how far you walk. Given that three of us are training for and completing a 20 mile walk during the challenge period, we should do OK!

Now I really MUST do my physio and start getting ready for tomorrow...
