ZCC72 - The marker pen - you could always try the alternative to Stardrops which is not very old style but works a treat on a lot of unexpected things - WD-40

Had a reasonable night.
Dinner stayed down
Not feeling too bad
So I'm off to work today. I have a meeting after work tonight so probably won't have time to fly or catch up much.

Hey Soappie - glad your feeling better. Im still ropey, have been up since 5ish, so dont think I will be going to work today! Dont feel ready to face the world yet.

Regarding the felt pen - dont know if this will help, but at work last week, i wrote on one of our white boards with a permanent marker pen which someone had put back in the wrong box :mad: . Anyway, one of the guys at work had a pack of kitchen cleaning wipes with Orange oil which he had bought in Aldi! It took it all away. you cant even see an outline of what had been written before. It took a little bit of time, 20 mins or so, but it worked. Might be worth a go xx

Many people write on the boards at my work with the wrong type of pen, and baby wipes work a treat. Odd but true

Good morning everyone, looks like another sunny and windy morning, but this might change, like yesterday.

Was up late last night, due to OH getting back from work very late. So I managed to get some of todays flying done last night. Hope everyones o.k this morning.

I dont have orchids, but i did see orchid food in asda when i was looking at the gardening stuff, was only a couple of pounds i think.....

You can freeze leeks, but im not sure about the mascarpone. I prep my leeks before i freeze them and then just chuck some in frozen as and when i need them xx

ZCC72 hairspray will remove permanent marker from most things, sometimes persistence is required.

Dusty leeks I've only ever frozen them after I'd sauteed them - they were fine and dandy.

Re: mascarpone.... I found this here : http://www.ochef.com/86.htm

"Mascarpone can be frozen, but it may separate or shatter when defrosted. It can be re-emulsified, though, by whipping it vigorously with a wire whisk while it is still very cold."
