Sorry to hear Polka's sad news :(

    Good speech Miss A :)

Toots - we'll all be glad to see you back. I don't know how to post in bold red so I'll have to do bold black. I did all five stars last week and I've done the Kitchen this week (Tuesday's list).

Not done any flying today, but plan to do some tomorrow, once the boiler men have been and I've been to the docs. Might have my hair cut too, as I can't really see anymore my fringe is so long.

Love and hugs to Polkadot and her DH

    Hugs to all poorlies

I've been dying for a bath tonight. DH said to wait til he'd had his as he likes it hotter than me, and we are reliant on the boost to heat the water, don't have the proper bit working yet (after 4 attempts so far), and so we use the same water. He didn't get in the bath until 9:45, and he always has a really long bath, sometimes an hour long. I want to go to bed now, and am certainly not going to get in there at what ever hour he decides to get out. I've been asking him all evening to hurry and have his bath. A hot bath is not too much to ask for, especially when you are tired and your bones ache! I'm feeling pretty murderous right now, so am going to bed.

I know worse things happen and he is a good bloke, but he has absolutely no sense of urgency and always does things in his own sweet time. It drives me mad!
SOrry for the rant! Night all, sweet dreams xx

Yes, I did work experience in a restaurant. Wash them in really hot water, and give them a polish with a clean tea towel. They will be really sparkly. Night Emily

    Evening all

I managed to complete my own list for the day and to do a bit of the ironing.

Polka hugs and love to the 3 of you
Summermoon hugs for you on your difficult decisions
Soappie I hope you have a better night

OH just removing the old DW ready for the new one tomorrow. 4 watchers on ebay so hopefully we will get a bid. I'm sure he will wash the floor in prep but if not I'll do that tomorrow.

    Night all.

Declutter ALL the floors!! Hall and stairs are clear!!

Is your living room floor EVER going to be clear :p

Mudders - have you done your imeasure? They're changing the site at the moment...

Emily - if your glasses have water marks on them that don't come off after you've followed Rosepink's instructions, then either wipe with a vinegar-soaked cloth and rinse, or soak in vinegar diluted in hot water then wash. Polishing with a tea towel before they're completely dry is very important!

I have now done one more lot of exercises (sooo boring...)hoovered all the downstairs floors, so I'm off to get my lunch ready and check what else I can do while getting ready for bed to get my lists down...
  • I've done things lists the wrong way round tonight as borrowed the MIL steamer.

Steamed cleaned the cooker, fridge and back door..well OH did while I painted annoying bare patch where last occupiers of house had a underbench fridge or summat.

But I still don't know how to run WM through a clean cycle so going to wash hair and groom ready for another day at the coal face.

Princess Jane - for your WM and DW cleaning cycles, you need to bung in some soda crystals (not too many, or it will go all over the floor!) and vinegar and put them on the hottest wash they can manage. Don't put anything in (with the possible exception of cleaning cloths) and its a good idea to clean the filters first so that the soda crystals and vinegar can really do their job. In the WM I usually put vinegar in the fabric conditioner drawer, a small amount of soda crystals in the detergent dispenser and the rest of the soda crystals in the drum. Soda crystals get rid of grease and gunge, while vinegar descales.

Have hoovered the whole of downstairs and the stairs, and degunged the fridge. So just off to find my list as I THINK I might have managed to get to level 3 on both days now (windows/sills were done on Sunday along with dusting).
