*yawn* Morning  Oh boy, I'm so tired this morning.

I love my children dearly, but sometimes, just sometimes, it would be great to just get myself ready to go on a trip. And not have to think for everyone else.

    ie......

    my fantasy.....

right, petrol in the car, make up done.... savnav hooked up. Bye

    my reality....
Waiting for DD1 to come back from Grandma's,
organising DD2 to go to grandma's for the day, because she's got a party she really doesn't want to miss.
organise present and card for said party
get bag of stuff together to entertain DD3 in the car
drop Harry to grandma's because it's too long for him to be alone.
    etc etc etc.......

For some unknown reason got up at 6.15am, ugh.

So I have released the chickens, cooked them some veg as a tasty treat and fed them it.:D

    WM x 1

    BM x1

    DW x1

    Surfaces wiped.

    Rubbish binned

    Plates scraped.

    Coffee percolated

    Cat fed and released

White board wiped and re filled with list of things I would like to do today.

    Dry towels folded

    Wet towels hung out.

    Kitchen floor swept

Lamb in red wine sauce now in slowcooker.

As I have clearly taken leave of my senses, I have now returned to bed where I intend to stay awhile.:p

    Good morning everyone.:rotfl:

morning all well i forgot the clocks went forward last night, to be honest by the time i got in from the racing i was so tired (and cold we were all freezing)that i wouldnt have cared if i had won the lottery i just wanted my bed.DD2 woke me up this morning telling me that the baby was in her bed.how she managed that i have no idea but she did

DD3 (the baby) will be 2 next week, it seems like only a few months ago we were bringing this little bundle home from special care. at least i can decorate her new bedroom and get co ordinating bits n bobs for her birthday what else do you get someone who really has everything.

i have decided i am going to try and get a job at the racing as a steward, its volantary but it will give me somwething to do untill i find another aromatherapy job and it will look better on my cv than a gap in employment.

im going to stop typing now and make a coffee...hmm wonder if the grand prix is still on

    Morning all!!

I'm awake and I don't like it  as I slept really badly, I must have woken up about ten times, minimum. I had better sleep tonight as I have a trip to Birmingham for work tomorrow and I have to be up at 5am

Still, I don't have a huge amount to do in the house this morning - now that the washing machine is fixed I already have a load dancing around in the machine and I am going to risk hanging it out on the line while I go off for a wee day trip with the folks. I'm hoping to get another few loads done before they turn up at 11.

The bathroom is still pretty sparkly, and for the first time in weeks there are no dishes to be done from the day before :j so I am going to try and have a nice relaxing day:D

    Happy Sunday everyone!

Triker - good job you mentioned the chickens, I had forgotten to let ours out.

83Rachel - was it you who mentioned a recipe for carpet freshener? I meant to ask but forgot.

Flower - the castle Grand Designs is one of my favourite ones. It is one of the few things I do watch.

My sister is coming for Sunday lunch and is staying tonight so a few bits to do. Trying to decide between a baked Honey and Almond Cheesecake (Tesco Food Club mag this month) or a no cook Caramel Cheesecake (Good Food). Also need to think of a vegi main course for her, put the guest bed sheets on, and hoover downstairs.

    .

yes it was hun its a great recipe for freshening the carpet and you can adapt it for your mood/needs the basic recipe is

    100g bicarb
    2 drops tea tree oil
    2 drops lavender oil
    2 drops ylang ylang
2 drops clary sage (do not use if pregnant or if you have diabete's i cant stress this enough because it can cause miscarrage)

open the tub of bicarb empty aproximatley half out and add the oils then put the other half back in and shake well. with a fork crate some holes (or use an old pepper tub) sprinkle over carpet and leave for ten mins, vacume the carpet and if you can get away with it dont empty the bag as it will clean your vacume cleaner aswel in the process.this can be stored in the container for 3 months. if you have a medical condition or simply need some energy/have other needs you can use the apropriate oil in place of the clary sage.

if you dont have essential oils in the house (fragrance oils are not the same thing)use lemmon juice (3 drops) and salt (1tsp) but if you use this it must be discarded after use

any problems let me know and ill recomend a different oil
