Toots thanks for the pink star. Really pleased with myself being able to part with a lot of my stuff. I can even say now most of it was rubbish and went in the bin:eek: not known for me! I did make sure the usable stuff went to the charity shop and Pipers clothes went to a friends LO.

Off to watch gardeners world that I sky+ and do some x-stitching.

Right, here is my list for the week:

    *deep breath*

Magnificent Monday - Living room, hall, stairs and porch!

    Done to Level 1

Twinkly Tuesday - Kitchen and dining room

    Done to Level 1

Wishywashy Wednesday ~ Study, bathrooms and loo

    Done to Level 2! :j

Tremendous Thursday - Master bedroom and Landing
    Done to Level 1

So, this is all well and impressive, especially as I had done my extra tasks each day, then today it all went a bit Pete Tong :D

Friday Fling! ~ Bit of everything!!
    Level One
Pick a room and declutter and vacuum the floor! Living room it is!
Wash any neglected windows Nope, Bad Fresian.
    Level Two
    [strike]S&S the kitchen[/strike]
    [strike]S&S the bathroom[/strike]
Wash any bedding you've not done this week.. including the pets! Nope, as I have broken my washing machine...

And I didn't wash down my sofa, so Friday has been a bit of a bummer, but to be honest I don't care - the house looks amazing compared to my normal [strike]lack of[/strike] standards, so I can only hope that in the next few weeks my efforts will pay off and it will keep looking better and better. I am guessing that once the first couple of "oh lord there is so much to do" weeks are finished it will become easier anyway as it will be routine.

Thanks for all of the hilarious words and general encouragement, have a lovely weekend.

I was bad and went to Waitrose on my way home (without a list too :o ). The stuff on the shelves is so much more interesting than what I normally see... I didn't buy veg there though - I'll still get that from the farm shop.

But wierdly... it actually cost me LESS than it would have done if I'd gone to Sainsbury's or Tesco  Maybe I was being good because I thought it would be expensive?

House is a tip (I've been rushing in, dropping stuff and rushing out all week), and there's lots of laundry to do. I'm exhausted after working late last night, and not really eating or exercising properly all week, so I'm going to start getting ready for bed.

Hopefully I'll manage a lie in tomorrow, and I plan to spend the weekend pottering... so I'll see you all around!

Got home from work and collapsed on the chair and did very little, how I wish I could retire:D

I have actually done 2 loads in the WM since I came home and I have also made a rather good batch of cupcakes if I say so myself (what did you think Ashia?)
So at least OH had a treat when he got home from work, though he did buy his own birthday tea on the way home - chinese banquet for 2.

Am going to post this and then sort out the kitchen before I go to bed, OH is already snoring up there (I can hear him through the ceiling) so I'll have to keep the noise down, no late night hoovering:rotfl:

    Froddy - (((hugs)))

    See you all tomorrow.
