Sorry Bugatti_boi, have you actually read any of the posts in reply to your question?

Just about everyone said that it's not rocket science... And it takes days to learn...

Anyway, unless you tell us your IQ level we will hardly be able to tell you how long do you need..

It's not that difficult. Buy a book and/or a CD rom. Buy the highway code. Then get reading and doing. You should be able to get 100% in the theory questions section with little difficulty then.

    Hey everyone,

Thought ud all be pleased to know that I started studying the highway code on monday and I have decided that Im going to have a month to study and then a month to revise on the cd. Hopefully after I have done both I should be ready.

Do you think 2 months is enough to work on it because I don't want to take forever doing it because the sooner I get it done and out of the way the better.

Well that has only taken you about 10 days since your original post, obviously you are not in any hurry, take as long as you need.;)

I passed in about 5 days on non-intensive study with pretty good marks - it's fairly easy

Should have passed in the intervening time between today's post and first post.

Quit fannying around and get on with it.

Driving obviously isn't that important to you or else you would get your act together and get studying. I took my first theory test a week after my 17th Birthday. I failed and booked another one for the next week. Unfortunately the only one that soon was 30 miles away but I got a train there because I was really eager to get driving. Passed my second one then took my driving test one month later.

If your that fussed about driving you'll not need people to tell you to get a move on, you will just do it.
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I bought those driving test discs you regularly see in WHSmiths etc. and it worked a treat.

For me the test was easy-peasy. I found the questions were often "general knowledge" and "common sense" questions that you could answer by a process of eliminating the other options. Of course there were a few road sign questions and some stopping distances, but if you have your nouse about you and go to bed early the night before then its straightforward.

Just buy the CDs and the highway code and you should do fine. I find revising just before bedtime (or as bed time reading) is the best way to memorise things.
