my mate signed up for epimus internet & phone package in May last year .
He is no longer working but not entitled to benefits . His computer no longer works ,are they likely to let him out off his 18 month contract early .

The short answer is 'no'. He signed up to 18 months and they will not be interested in his work status or his broken PC.
However he has nothing to lose by ringing them up and trying, the best he is likely to get is to pay off the rest of his contract in reduced instalments.
Does he still want to retain the phone contract? No free lunch, and no free laptop

the phone contract is not the problem because it was only tied for 6 months ,the internet was 18 months .The short answer is 'no'. He signed up to 18 months and they will not be interested in his work status or his broken PC.
