Ouch. Sorry I should have known you would know that.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0 -
Maybe when you look in to it, you will find that spending £200 per month on childcare still makes you better off than being on benefits
. I know my daughter is a lot better off working and she has two children and pays a similar amount in childcare. It also gives her the opportunity to go out everyday and meet and talk to people, instead of staying in with the children with no money to do anything, the children enjoy childcare and it keeps her bills down as she is not at home all day:D.
Good luck with your quest0 -
IA- just been [STRIKE]stalking you[/STRIKE] catching up on your posts.;)
I really hope you are going to apply for these jobs. I know Ash going to f-time school seems ages away-but from someone whose been there-twice! it really isn't. By the time you started I reckon it would be May and then you are looking at 4 months of expensive childcare before it became cheaper. You've funded the childcare all this time, including times when you've not been in paid employment, don't give up at the last hurdle.
Look into other childcare options, a childminder perhaps or does Ash's school have wrap-round care if it does could she start in the holiday scheme in July if that is cheaper than nursery when it's not funded.0 -
