A woman with a plan - and a good one at that! Hope all goes well for you - well done on completing your CAB training. x x

My littleun's school went part time for the first 3 weeks - Id only booked 2 weeks off work so had a bit of a mad panic about getting her picked up! x x

  • Well done on finishing your training! :T

Now this is one diary I'll definitely be following, as I'm planning on working for the CAB as well once I've finished uni. I'm meeting up with a woman there tomorrow to chat about what it involves. Then if that goes ok, I'll fill in a application form and have a formal interview. I'm not too worried about tomorrow, that seems like a 'do you have the time to do this?' sort of thing, which I know I have. The formal interview is what scares me, since that sounds like the part where they'll be choosing whether they actually want me doing it or not. What do they normally ask in that interview, do you know?

It's not really stressful or anything. It's just judging whether you're the kind of person that would suit the work and be good with clients. Just like any other job interview really don't worry. :) Good luck!

Food budget took a bit of a battering today. £17 worth of food... £6 of which was nappies and the rest was comfort food.. lol!! Have my best girlie mate coming over tonight for a whinge about the world and we're going to stuff our faces and make ourselves feel better lol Well.. predominantly me.. but ho hum :D

    So currently...
    £18 food budget left
    £30 social budget left
    £20 petrol
    £6 band
    £180 for bills
    £45 to save.

Had a good morning at CAB but it was dead. Only saw one client. Still enjoyed it though. At my local outreach on thursday so looking forward to that as will be observing the benefits caseworker.

Feeling !!!!! in myself today, but lifes too short to stress.
