IA doesn't the government pay most of the childcare costs when you go back to work? My OH's DIL reckons she gets 70% of it back.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0

Urgh.. this saving malarky is going badly.. had to get a new bed for Ashli as KK was trying to climb out of her cot so got Ash a single bed and gave KK the old cotbed.. washing machine is screwed up so had to buy a new washing machine which ended up going on credit.. argh nightmare!!
Current savings... nothing... nada... ARGH! It all started off so well...
CAB is going well. Had my final assessed interview yesterday which went well. Got my final review on thurs hopefully and should have the course signed off and done and be able to send off for my certificate
Bands going well. Looking to get a gig soon as have made a setlist.
Going out with the band guys in saturday too.
As for me I'm generally good. Still up and down with the stuff that's happened recently in my life but on the whole much better than it has been which is good. Still getting there.
As a John Mayer song says... ''I'm in repair.. I'm not together but I'm getting there..''
The girls are both fine and adjusting to being in big girl beds. Bedtime is interesting and they're getting up earlier in the morning that I care to even think about so needless to say I'm tiiiiiiiiiiired. But I really can't complain. They're angels really...most of the time....
thank god it's the weekend. No idea what I'm doing other than tomorrow waiting for the washing machine to be delivered then plumbing that in all independant woman styleee then going out with the band guys on the night. As for tonight god knows. Things are still up in the air about going to the usual pub with my best mate at the moment because of everything that's gone on so we shall see.
Hope everyone's well!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Can claim 80% back through working tax credit yea but when the childcare fees are nearly £1000 and you have to find the other 20%.... lolIA doesn't the government pay most of the childcare costs when you go back to work? Ooooh you are qualified. You'll figure out the childcare, you've worked around bigger problems. CAB are a good employer with a good career structure and you are now looking at new graduate level jobs at a young age - you're tarnishing the image of young single mums standing around prams in shopping precincts, smoking fags and swigging blue WKD everywhere....;) Your mum did such a good a job and it's fantastic you're passing that on to your little girls and they can see that decent people do get somewhere through their own effort.immoral_angeluk wrote: »CAB is going well. Remember when you couldn't do childcare - it seemed like the end of the world... now would you rather be sitting at home for the next 5 years wiping other people's brats bums or out at the CAB doing case work....immoral_angeluk wrote: »I know.
