  • Wow - those prices are a blast from the past! :eek: And not the too distant past either! What would I do for petrol to 80p again... or even 50p again!! Do these old posts ever get deleted?

    Good god!! I got so excited then and was gonna rush off to Morrisons to fill up. Them were the days!! Long gone though!!

    No they don't. But unless someone unthinkingly adds a new post to one, everyone knows it's an old post and don't waste their time looking at it.

    Think it was 89.9p/l when I started driving which was less than 2 years ago.

    I can't remember what it was in 1997 when I passed my test as the price wasn't an issue. Go, fill up, drive.
    An ice burg lettuce has gone up 20p in Asda in the last few months.
    And three sausage rolls used to be a quid in Waterfields in the village here. Now they are £1.45 :|
