    Just a thought, but woud you be able to use blackcurrant or ginger wine in the recipe you posted, thriftady?

    I don't know, but it might be an alternative to the alcohol :)

    I'm sure both of those would work ;) but I think the point of the recipe would be lost rather, I think it's really one for the boozers among us:D

    Yea, I know, I'm not a great fan of the boozy food either and just thought it might mean that you could still try it but without the actual alcohol. I know what you mean, though :)

    Think this is one that might be best left alone to those who like it :)

    sultanas = white grapes
    currants = blackcurrants! quote]


    Currants are not blackcurrants, but dried grapes. Their name is a corruption of Corinth/Korinth in Greece, where they usually come from.
