Mini or Maxi - should I change?

I have looked to see if this is covered elsewhere but can not find an answer. I put £20 a month into a mini Isa - can not afford more and have no other savings. I have received a letter asking if I want to switch to a maxi isa for the next tax year but do not have a clue! Can anyone tell me the benefits of switching - in simple English? Many thanks.

unless you plan to go over £4000 in the tax year, then keep it a MINI.
It is a requirement of all regular savings ISAs to offer this choice before the start of the tax year.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
