I don't belive you need front fog lamps and im quessing it's failed as it sharp, so quess that to tape it up sould be o.k, don't quote me on that though...
Also i thought front fog lamps wasn't part of the mot as not all cars have front fogs?0 -
You should not have failed on a broken front fog lamp as these are optional and not considered in the MOT test. Consider appealing and ask the tester to show you exactly where in the regulations it says the front fog lights should be tested.
