i tried to place a sale with full price order but it deleted my basket when i added full price stuff so did sale through quidco and no track as its a sale. then went through quidco later to do a full price order but found a dress in TALL i wanted in the sale that had gone in my size, but when in basket it came up @ sale price. The whole order tracked straight away which is ODD coz i always have to manually do enquiries coz next & next flowers NEVER tracks for me.
  • I went instore yesterday & managed to get the jeans I couldn't get online. Is it just me or did most of it look rubbish. All the casual tops I looked at seemed to be really cheap looking.

We went yesterday, there was no room to pass through the aisles if someone else was looking at the merchandise (and there were plenty) - clothes all looked horrid. Came out and went to M&S sale and bought a shed load for not much - including an Autograph silk dress £70 down to £12. :D With plenty of room to look without getting trampled.

Come to think, I couldn't find anything in the last Next sale either. And I've noticed that a few years ago their basic pump style shoes were leather, now are plastic.

However, I do find the staff in Next very polite and helpful.

I don't buy next for myself except for the jeans but for my 3 year old Next was always a brand that I knew would fit him. He's got a wide build, really big chest and shoulders and Next clothes always had enough material, sleeves not too tight etc.

About a year ago the kids clothes changed to asda quality and next lowered the price. Friends who live elsewhere said Next have a range, and that I am just unlucky that our small next only stocks the cheap stuff.

You can really see the difference though, if you buy old stuff off ebay it's much better quality, thicker cotton etc. than what's in the shops now.

My boys love the mario and sonic t-shirts in stock now, but I begrudge paying next prices for asda quality.

  • I used Topcash back which tracked straight away. Why do most of you prefer Quidco out of interest?
  • Flipping 'eck, just got my delivery....one item! I've ordered about 10 things for me & one for my hubby, his was on a 2-3 week delay & yet thats the one thats turned up!
  • Ordered through the glitch and in the excitement didnt realise it was all still marked at full price! Recieved e-mail which also didnt indicate sale price. Most of my order has arrived and little blue invoice also states (you guessed it) full price.

I called customer service and was told that sale price should appear on mailed invoice, i asked that she make a note of this on my account - but i am so worried that if i make use of my purchases and they dont honour sale price i will be stuck with the lot at full price!! any advice?

I'm sure they cant offer some customers sale price and others full price on identical stock!! I hope!!

I ordered through the glitch, was shown sale prices, sale prices in my email and one item has arrived today, at sale price. The hello kitty t-shirt is 'delayed' but is also shown at sale price.

I did have a VIP slot, did that make a difference?
