Apologies for this daft question

As i say,i imagine this seems to everyone to be a daft question,so i apologise.But..........

I have exchanged contracts with my buyer,completion date being 10 days away.
Having exchanged contracts,does this mean he cannot at this stage 'pull out'?

    You are right.....the deal has been done now. Its legally binding for both parties.

    And there is never a daft question....only stupid answers!

    Strictly speaking your buyer could fail to complete, very rare but it does happen. However you get to keep there 10% deposit.

    But then your vendor keeps your 10% deposit (or sues you for it if it's in your equity).

    Anyway OP, legally binding now, start packing up! :)
