They should let the market play out.
Not at all, we KNOW we are currently buying half a house so our choice, the point for us is, is that it is a secure property too (more so than renting as ive lived in 12 houses) if we want to buy more we will and if not we will pay this off and rent the rest..cheaply!..letting the market play out is what i have been told for the last few years, the way i see it is i have paid my ex landlords mortgage for him while the 'market played out' still each to their own hey!0 -

Our house that we rented was a friends who did us cheap rent due to the agreement that we did the diy etc, i.e it wasn't in fab condition but we could do what we liked (quite nice as most places now seem to have restrictions on everything)..anyway it was £400 per month by the time we left and this is £450 so it WAS cheaper but he was selling it and it was uncertainty with him got me worrying again so we pushed for this house..
We live on the coast and prices are still a lot and rents ridiculas, we still look now out of curiosity and say how mad the £500+ rents are for 2 bed flats and no parking, garden etc..
Glad we are here!0 -
