DELLS 2400 BACK

  • One thing I don't like about it is that it has 2 pieces of 128mb memory. Assuming it has 2 memory slots upgrading to a more reasonable 512mb would mean would have to buy the whole 512mb. The other requirement would be a CD writer. However with a 15inch tft monitor it's a good price.
  • looks good
  • Spot on!!
  • Plus buy it through your rpoints link for extra off

Does this PC have an AGP port? Has it got bays to add DVD writers etc.?
  • Ive been reading all the dell threads and playing around with Dell's website trying to get a good deal and I think I want to try and find one with one of the Celeron D processers instead of the older ones.

Can anyone tell me if there are any E-Value codes etc that can get me one of these systems without a monitor.

It can be either Small Bus or Medium and Large.

The best deal Ive found so far is £306.00 for and 2.6ghz Celeron D with 15" Flat Panel and CD/DVD RW Combo on Medium and Small Bus.

Can anyone tell me if this is a good deal? I think it is quite good because it has the CD/DVD and includes speakers etc that other cheaper models dont.

    Thanks. :D:)

£306 for a new windows XP pc with a TFT screen? Of course it's a good deal! Plus this version comes with speakers and a DVD/CD drive so you can watch movies on your FST.
Try getting a better package from PC World.
OK so it's not going to play Doom3 but for a basic home pc it'll be fine. If you do want to play games you can still get FX5200 PCI graphics cards to add in for about £50.
The only things that've stopped me buying one so far are that:
    a. I don't really need another pc
    b. Fear that Dell will come up with even better deals after Xmas.
    Cheers
