Well it seems like a thread about programming might or might not be a good idea. After all, we've already had over 40 posts on this thread and haven't yet made that decision.
Anyone know about PDP8 punched paper tape codes? Or should I start a new thread?

I remember punching holes in cards with a metal spike (imagine the 'elf 'n safety these days), then waiting 3 days for the usually faulty ream of paper to arrive.
That was early '70s at school, kept away from computers totally until I was given a win98 machine 4 yrs back, self taught since, with help from reading this forum.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
