So I send the letter:
I am writing to request a copy of my original loan agreement’s with Natwest. Blah Blah and change the
"I look forward to your response within 40 days, as is obliged under the Data Protection Act 1998. If not I shall seek remedy from the Information Commissioner." part to 12 days?
Thanks Di!
For a SAR it is 40 days, for just requesting for the agreement only its 12 days, this should help alone for now, unless you wanted to go as far as the SAR request now, you will find the template for this on the thread.;) XXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"

I've just written and sent off my letter to my local branch regarding the PPI on my loan, i took out my loan in 2004 i think it was now, to go on holiday. I wasn't told about the insurance on the loan and was shocked to discover i was only paying £90 towards the monthly payment.
Having now paid off the loan i hope to get the insurance payments back, the loan hit me for six financially and have never made a worse mistake in my life, im glad to have now paid it off and hope hat the insurance money will help me get back on my feet!0 -

Hun, Natwest may make you an offer of £750, as they seem to be doing with a lot of claims, hold out & don't accept, they should either offer full or will after you take them to FOS.
Good luck we are always here to help.

Really? Does it cost for the FOS, not really sure how it works?!:o0 -

No it doesn't cost to use FOS, the costs are paid for by a charge that is levied on each company that is complained about who currently is charged £450 per complaint. It may take some time but you will win in the end.0
