Yosemite National Park Accomodation

Options
I am needing 1 night stay in the Yosemite National Park in California for 30th March. Looking for somewhere close to the entrance to the National Park and good value as well. Any recommedations would be perfect.

Have you checked out fishcamp and area??

Staying in the park is probably best avoided.

I've previously stayed here but i guess it'll be booked up by now..

Honestly can't remeber where I stayed but it was about 20/30 miles back towards LA and didn't take too long too drive, by the time I reached Yosemite from LA it was about 3.00 pm spent couple of hours seeing the top part and returned the next day, park ticket was still valid, early to look around the bottom part, its really beautiful out there, drove on towards death vally through some beautiful scenic view.

Tell you what, if you like pizza, there's a great little place on this complex and it's quite reasonable too. They do take out so if you have a balcony overlooking the river, it can be really nice at night with a few beers from the on-site shop !

By the way, we stayed in the Blue Butterfly B&B which is on the same site.

You do know thats its extremely unlikely you'll actually get into Yosemite in March don't you? In fact not in the past 80 years has the Tioga pass been open in March - or even April.

However Mariposa is where id stay if you fancy taking your chances.

Yosemite is open all year round. Yes the pass will be closed and other "attractions" will be closed but there will be car access to Yosemite Valley and Wawona areas.
