EDIT - but if I google my name I can still find the post - how is that possible if the thread has gone from the forum? Somebody computer minded can you explain that.

In a nutshell - It's details stored from google's last visit. I've changed the content and ask google to visit again, so this info will be updated - i.e. removed from google as the information is no longer there.
