This doesn't seem as good as the onestopphoneshop deal - has that finished or something?
That was ovp vodafone 100 and you got all 12 months on that plan with all line rental refunded.0 -
AFAIAA, the Onestopphoneshop offer is still on; in fact it's improved slightly with a few more goodies. This doesn't seem as good as the onestopphoneshop deal - has that finished or something?

I don't understand how these work. ???
So you get an excellent phone, and line rental and free minutes/texts for nothing?
What's the catch?0 -

Basically yes. You pay line rental up front as usual and then get it refunded in later months. Catch 1 is that this comes with mandatory itemised billing @ £1.50/month but you can call orange to cancel that.
the only other thing to watch is that you promptly send your Xth monthly bills to OSPS so they can issue your rebate cheques - you have 28/45 days (can't recall) to do this. If you are too late /forget you don't get your money.
The phone shops get a fat commission from orange who hope that you will remain a customer. they use that commission (some of) to get you to buy.
I've gone for the k500i

This definately seems worth doing. I'll look into it. Doesn't seem to be any downside.
Also, what do you mean by, you can cancel the itemised billing?0 -
Ring up orange and say you don't want itemised billing. They say fine, it's done, and your £1.50 better off each month!

Its just that on the Vodafone tarriffs, which this is copying, if you want itemised billing you have to pay for it, whereas with other companies you don't have to pay for it.0 -
how long a contract does the onestop offer tie you into?
have you got a link to the thread pleaseFour guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
So it would it be better to get the phone from. Talkworld? or Onestopphoneshop?
Ah cool, on talk world you get free texts 7pm-8pm for the first 6 months.
Also, does anybody know if you have to be 18 or not to set up a direct debit?
cheers0
