    I had the same problem yesterday my solution was to just run system restore to just before the problems started. My laptops fine now just make sure you save anything important.

    Please dont run a system restore Dream. I have a feeling the restore points are infected

    Run LSPFIX

    Download HostsXpert

    and then follow the below steps.

    * Unzip HostsXpert.zip
    * It will create a folder named HostsXpert in whatever folder you extract it to.
    * Run HostsXpert.exe by double clicking on it.
    * click the Make Writeable? button.
    * click Restore Microsoft's Hosts File and then click OK.
    * Click the X to exit the program

    Download CCLEANER (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION' ~ make sure YAHOO TOOLBAR is unticked on installation)

    Run the CLEANER scan (UNTICK 'cookies')
    Then run the REGISTRY scan (Backup the registry when it asks)


    reboot

    Download GLARY UTILITIES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW' ~ UNTICK the ASK toolbar on installation)

    Problem with HostExpert: It wouldn't let me restore Microsoft Host File.

    And 3 network has barred the LSPFIX site

    Glary utilities found a few problems. I'll run Malaware now, reboot, then post a fresh hijack log.
