If you have no regular income how will you repay what you spend?0

Exactly. Are a company going to give you money when there is no obvious way of seeing it paid back? That would be a crazy risk.
Maybe phone the Vanquis people and ask before you waste a credit search.0 -

with savings when I did have a job, and my JSA whilst I'm looking for work at the moment
I currently have 2 visa cards one from Hsbc and the other LloydsTSB (from my days as a uni student) that I use regulary
I always pay the full amount every month.
only missed a payment once, years ago because the visa bill got lost in the mail0 -
If a student was applying a egg card (and since a majority of students dont work)
would there application be dismissed because of it0 -

If you have 2 cards with nothing outstanding what on earth do you want another for?0 -

But you are not a student are you?0 -
He's asking a question in his original post, not to be quizzed on why he wants another credit card and how he is going to pay it back. Your not loaning him the money... are you?
Answer his question or quit being so darn rude!0 -
Answering your original question:
Yes you could apply for another CC, but doubt you would be accepted. Minimum income I have seen for a CC is £5500, but would assume that with this you would get a very measily credit limit.

But some questions are dumber than others don't you think?0 -
I applied for my CC with the AA. I said I had been employed for 5 years and gave my employers details as they are recorded in the phone book with the correct phone number etc....the computer gave me instant approval and I know they didn't confirm with my employers as I have a friend in HR. Also as a bluechip financial company they wouldn't release data about me anyway.
Hope this helps Will.0
