You did indeed darling!!! Am so chuffed - ok, so there's only going to be £1 in there to start with, but when I get the deposit back from this rental it's going straight into MY savings account :j:jGet free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

I've just applied for the sainsbury's internet saver online - wasn't asked if I was BR, and at the end it has given me a sort code and account number so can I assume it's okay? Or have others got to this point whilst undischarged, only to have it taken away again?
Cheers!

When I applied for one a while back (before discharge) I got to that point, later got a letter asking for my discharge certificate before the account would go active.:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -
They wont activate the account while your undischarged...I had to send copies of my discharge paperwork (as waspy said) before they would take the account any furtherWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

After discharge, they asked for my certificate of discharge - sent them the OR letter I asked for; they accepted that.
Sainsbury did tell me that the account can still have money put into it, but they would not be able to release the funds until the discharge certificate arrived.
You'll know whats what as once you are able to set up the online bits for the account it tells you that the account is awaiting authorisation next to the balance bit; if this is the case then a letter is en-route about the discharge certificate.0 -
Thanks guys - doh! Oh well - one to sort out after the year then
