Hi
I'm due to upgrade my phone soon and I've been looking at Sony phones as I really like them, what ones are good?!

Anyone got any experience with either?
Thanks

Ok now I'm thinking about the C905 now need cheered up and it might cheer me up. But I notice it has WiFi, how does that work? I use my current phone for the internet a fair bit
THanks0 -
the wifi will only work if there is a wifi access point nearby as it has limited range.
also, if you have a wifi network at home you will be able to browse the net for free using the wifi. if you use a public wifi access point, you may be charged for using it.0 -
Ahh thanks!!! Well I have wireless internet at home so would that mean it woudl be free at home?!

Isnt there loads of problems with the C905?
Like failing earpiece, phone completely dying...?
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the phone is expensive and unreliable. There are plenty reviews about the 2 problems i've listed above.
Maybe they have already fixed the problems that i've read about?

I would avoid the C905 for a while. The screen goes blank, phone is slow to respond to your commands and as above.
I have just got the X1 and it's a great bit of kit. Have a look.
It has WIFI etc and i have mine with O2 for £30 month with 600 mins 1000 texts and unlim dataend the tv tax0 -
Most Mcdonalds have wi-fi.I used their net sitting in my car with laptop on their car park.0

Ive got the C905 I do like the camera and the phone in general but.... I have found it slower to text on than my previous phone the W810i? This is due to the flat buttons as Im use to raised buttons!
Mine after about 2 months is now in the CPW express repair centre as the C cancel button has failed.
I still like the phone but not sure it was the best choice, I dont use the music as got an ipod but am very pleased with photo quality.
Next time in 16 months dont think Il have such a 'top end' phone, will hope this one still works then so I can put it on a contract free sim.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

thanks for your replies everyone!
I currently have the W880i also got W910i but gone back to W880i as the other one keeps crashing!! so def don't want the C905 if thats doing that too, the 910 has been to sony and they 'fixed it' but it was worse than ever! its outta warranty now.
MMM I dunno what to do, I can't get o2 in my house so that option is out the window, might just go fo the C510, C902 or W705 - any advise on them?!
I'm going to wait until orange phone - its officially up in June but could have upgraded a month ago so they should be calling soon I'd think! and phone is still working!
THanks! -0
