Hi cathy what ratio of turps & washing up liquid

say half a mug of washing up liquid to a desert spoon of turps

half that washing up liquid use a teaspoon

last for ages as well

cooking oil by the way gets gloss paint off your hands better than turps without the harshness.

Caterina, I agree with you. Some of the boards on this site seem pretty good - not this one though! I put it down to the poor moderator who seem intent on making and encouraging inane comments

I should look elsewhere on the net if I were you! There are some good sites but I am wary of mentioning them by name here as the moderator appears to 'follow' people around

I certainly won't be visiting again

if you look at the date of the first post  it was made months ago in the "tips" section, l;ong before this board was set up.  recently the moderator from that section moved it to these boards  thats why the comments went off topic,
I do not follow people around  I have more to do than that, unlike yourself.
there are only two sites with board on the net that I visit and post on one of which I am admin for and have been for 4 years.
but certainly   stay away,as until NOW I have never felt the need to moderate any post  as everyone in here is nice and helpful and polite.

If you have had a sense of humour by-pass  please dont make nasty  INANE comments, without reading the posts properly  and stay away by all means,   comments like yours wont be missed.

any more nasty, unhelpful comments will certainly in future be subject to moderators powers.

thats what the moderator is for.

Good for you Cathy. I have seen people like this eventually close boards down. People don't want that kind of comments cropping up all the time. Don't take any notice. I for one totally appreciated the earlier comments - they cheered me up no end. I wish more things could be done with a lighthearted smile, wink or grin like this thread.

Oh yes, nearly forgot. If someone is alergic to turps, white spirit et al then if you put washing up liquid on your palm together with half a teaspoon of sugar and rub vigorously then it will remove paint stains, tons of dirt etc without affecting your skin.
