Simply switch won't give me my Amazon vouchers
Options
I changed electricity suppliers through Simply Switch last October. The new contract ran from 8th November, but I'm still waiting for the promised Amazon vouchers.
Despite 6 e-mails and four telephone calls the promised voucher code hasn't materialised. Customer service appears to be just one person (I have spoken to him each time) and I get a different excuse each time. They don't even respond to the e-mails.
OK it's only £15 but it's the principle - not that I've got a lot of either!!! So if you are thinking of switching I would use someone else.

I know from dealing with simply switch that the vouchers are ONLY available with certain online tariff's not all tariff's are included in the offer. I had to call the call centre sales department to be advised of this. The lady on the phone advised me that it was a few tariff's that dealt out the vouchers. personally i preferred talking to the lady on the phone as she was very friendly even if i was only getting a £10 littlewoods voucher i was saving more with them on the call than i was with the webpage and she explained everything a bit better than the website did.0

When switching using simplyswitch via the MSE link, the offer is for amazon vouchers, not littlewoods vouchers.
Essentially, you are entitled to a £15 voucher for any single fuel switch or £35 for any dual fuel switch (one per household)

Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
I know it doesn't, :-) but if it makes anyone feel any better, I'm still waiting for my Amazon vouchers too!
I switched in January when all the comparison sites offered me the same package (British Gas), so the only reason I went through SimplySwitch was that it promised me the best incentive.
Now I know that I would have been better off with less vouchers that actually arrive! :-) Not that I wouldn't enjoy spending that money, but it's mainly the principle! If you let every 10-15-20 pounds like this go, it would add up to a nice little sum!!!0
