AFRAID>>Should i send token payments to my creditors

Already said that. But, like RAS said. I, everyone here has been through all this so in retrospect we mostly all know the pitfalls. Particularly right at the beginning, when you are floundering, not sure what to do, where to go and who to take advice from. What to do next. Take it from me, too, I also know the real fear behind it all - I ended up stroking as a result of the harassment I had for example. But I have some gumption about me since. But being human, I also get afraid from time to time. 'What if's. That's all I really meant TBH. I don't take sides BTW. But there really is only one way to put things where debt is concerned. I had this myself one year ago. Everyone has.but regarding the 'token payments' - I think the idea is that as long as you are payinga tiny amount
I hope any of that made sense to you. And that you will get help. Because you know what I would most like to do for people right now, going through all this? To make it stop.
SOA = statement of affairs. Essentially it's your budget income/outgoings per month. To issue to your creditors, it's what CCCS will or should have drawn up for you to send with your letters. They go by different names, I always refer to them as 'financial statements' for example.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

Statement of Affairs......SOA......its your income and expenditure. If you post it on here then we may be able to see where you could make some savings on your outgoings, thus giving you more money to pay towards your debts.

You have done the hard part, by contacting CCCS. Its not easy on a DMP but you can afford to pay bills, buy food and pay your debts, so for us it was the way to go. Just take a look at my figures, and you can see that I was also afraid of what could happen etc. We have a long way to go, and so will you, but you can do it, and you have your baby....your future to do it for. Be STRONG and you will get out of this. Keep posting and draw strength from others who have been and are still going through this.

I don't know anything about any benefits which you may be entitled to, but I would expect that someone will be able to point you in the right direction to check that you are claiming everything that you should be.
Would your family let you reduce your payment to them?
