  • Let me get this right? You get 1000 xnet off peak minutes per month for 12 months plus the phone delivered for just a one off payment of £25?

No, there's no one off payment to make. And they're same network (orange to orange) or landline minutes.

It's a cashback deal, incase your not familiar with these, you pay your monthly bill of £20, then at months 4, 8, and 12 you claim the money back from e2save via a voucher they send you with your original order.

So basically you are getting the phone and 12 months line rental and minutes for nothing.

PS if you want off peak xnetwork mins, then it's £25 per month, with 10 months free line rental, so will cost you £50 for the year. But go through quidco and earn £31.50 for your purchase so this will technically reduce it to £18.50

Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first ;)

  • Are you sure? It definately says x-net

Check the link, there are 3 different tariffs, one of which is 1000 xnet off peak mins.

  • I can see 6 tariffs. What's the difference between the bottom 2? Do you actually pay anything or is it totally free? (after claiming back?)

The 2save offer for the 1000min off peak x-net (black/silver?) V3 clearance is for 11 months free rental.
  • On Orange, all I can see are 'YourPlan Crossnet 200', 'Off Peak X-net 1000' and 'X-net off peak 1000'.

The difference between the last 2 is that one you can use to call any network off peak and the other is only orange to orange or to a landline.

To answer your second question, there is nothing to pay apart from your monthly line rental which you claim back. (Unless of course you use minutes outside your allowance, but that's pretty obvious!)

I ordered mine Friday and I can confirm you don't pay anything. The only thing they do is to make a charge 1p to a credit card you hold, but this is for security reasons, to verify who you are.

Hope that's cleared things up for you.

Yes sorry, I was looking at the pink one which is only 10 months. So the black/silver one would be the better one to go for if you wanted he off peak xnet deal.

  • It looks like the non x-net deal also includes 30 mins video calling too. Not that I'm interested in that....

Thanks for your help. I'd also like to find out how much you pay for data usage...
  • done.....thanks!
