Hiya janninew & welcome. Morning Everyone !!

Thats reminded me to add the important bit.

    [Quote - Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes

    :mad:Morning all.

you have to hose Numpty down?

Concrete and I don't mix - I fell head first into some concrete mix when I was very small as I was helping dad mix it and my job was to tilt the watering can and pour the water in, he told me to stop but pouring water was fun so dad grabbed the spout of the watering can and pulled but I didnt let go of the can and fell splat into the concrete and worse still I sniffed:eek: I was mortified as I had to be hosed down in the yard before being allowed into the house and my favourite dungarees with embroidered westies on the top were ruined:mad:

I was up late last night finishing Deborah Meaden's book and have come to the conclusion that I am indeed an entrepreneur who is likely to go far:D I also wrote a couple of paragraphs to email across to the entertainment agency and this morning have updated my website. I received confirmation that I have been awarded a Diploma in Wedding Planning (no merit for me because I had 2 C's:mad: - one was my fault because I was lazy but the other was given by an ex tutor who gave all her other students a C for the same assignment:mad:).

Washing is being done as I type and it will be hung on the line as it is good drying weather today.

I think your prority today Wol is a letter to the ombudsman, then your clients.

    Good Morning All

I am in theory a lady of leisure today (no work) but in reality I shall be rushing around all day. I am housesitting (well farmsitting really) and have so far fed and watered everybody, walked the dogs, visited elderly grandmother and made her breakfast and got her out of bed. Now I'm wondering whether I can fit in a trip to the shops to try on some holiday clothes (before purchasing them cheaper online :D) then I'll have to feed some animals mid afternoon, nip back to my house to feed my cats and cut my grass before starting on the evening farm chores and cooking grandmother some tea and taking it over to her and keeping her company for a bit.

Farmsitting sounds like fun Tixy - does grandma come as part of the farm? I'd steer clear of the shops Tixy as I know you say you will buy the clothes on line, you may give into temptation:D

I'm certainly 'steering clear of the shops' today - including the 'not so' Jolly Green Giant.
Was supposed to be working, but called, as I suspected they would, this morning to say they don't need me, but would I work all day tomorrow instead.
Nobody likes working on a Sunday - least of all me - but needs must, so will be avoiding ASDA, and their phone calls, for the rest of the day in case they change their mind.

Almost forgot :o'Good afternoon everybody'. :hello: :hello: :hello:

It might happen sooner if a) you win the lottery or b) get a job that pays a salary - heard anything from that interview yet or are they still dragging their knuckles on the ground?
