Good morning everyone (only just!) No, I haven't just crawled out of bed, I have been up and about a few hours - went and got 2 new front tyres fitted and all wheels balanced. (My car got some treatment too !!!)

Now my wheels are balanced and tyres legal I can roam the highways to and from my place of work in safety.

Hopefully going on a balloon ride this evening if weather holds, this was a birthday present from last year but kept getting cancelled because of weather problems. At least the company are honouring last years bookings. Bit gusty out there at the moment though so might have to reschedule.....

Had Eglu chicken house delivered this week and will be collecting 2 feathered ladies tomorrow from a breeder up the road. Home grown new laid eggs here we come!

Enjoy rest of day people and good troll hunting.

Yummy - Nothing beats home grown eggs:T

Hope you enjoy the hot air balloon trip. I always think they look lovely but I'm too chicken to actually go in one.

We've had our 3 'rescue' hens for about six months now - great 'characters', bit 'mischevious' but wouldn't be without them.

New life for them - regular supply of eggs for us - what more can you ask for? :T :T

Didn't your daddy ever sit you on his knee and explain about the birds and the bees, Numpt :confused:

Actually you are right - you don't 'grow' eggs - the Stork brings 'em, if I remember correctly. :o:o

Eggs...are made inside hens after they have eaten worms and other yummy goodies. They are 'laid' when the hen sits down and she is in the mood to lay - they come out soft and then the shell hardens and sometimes you can get an egg within an egg and sometimes you get double yolkers which are different.

    Afternoon all,

Horace, so sorry for saying it was you that said I sprinkled guinea wee :o that'll teach me to skim read :(

Numpty :naughty::p - will remove myself from your groupie list if this continues :rotfl:

Aaaaaagggh  to tree chopping  I have been protecting the huge ol lime in my back garden for years but lying to my neighbours that it has a preservation order on it ;) They're too dam stupid to find ou the truth.

A large plot a few mile from here recently had a huge fence put up round it & much mysterious activity gong on. Well, the fence came down to reveal hundreds of lovely old birch trees had been chopped as the landowner thought he was going to start up an off roading centre without permission. Needless to say Virginia Water peeps were having none of it & he is not having his environmental assassination centre... doesnt really help all the trees though.

    Makes me so mad
