Hi emily - good to see you - I've been trying my best to keep an eye on this thread today, but it's difficult when there aren't many of the regulars about.

Happy dust is dried guinea pig wee:eek: I don't want that sprinkled on me ta very much.

Glad to be of assistance re pcone (we never utter the name in full as they get touchy about it) so hopefully you might start getting £3 either paid into a paypal account or in the form of luncheon vouchers (I really must start taking these with me when I go out:rolleyes:).

The internet has been funny lately, the other day it took me an age to get in, it seemed to be permanently disconnected and my poor laptop kept asking me to use dial up (I have dial up on the laptop so that I can use it that way but I have no phone connection in this room), usually I use broadband. I suspect that Virgin Media want me to increase my tv package - I am still on the starter package that I took out with telewest so my tv costs me £5.50 but I get Living, Discovery and lots of other channels incl National Geographic:j

Uhm it was dearest Numpty who said that Happy Dust was guinea pig wee:rolleyes:

I am feeling very sad today, tree surgeons are chopping down some massive poplar trees which I can see from my flat, I rang the council and there is no preservation order on them and I can't get a preservation order slapped on them either:mad: The trees were there when the land was still a farm and they must be about 200ft high - they are beautiful or rather they were until the tree surgeon took his saw to them:mad: They are so tall, he is having to use a huge crane to reach them and I can see him swinging about with his orange hard hat - I have even rung the tree surgeon (he's out, surprise surprise) to find out why the poplars needed to go.

    I loves trees.

Thank you MF - did you take the picture yourself?

I think I must be a druid as I have always had a thing about trees:D Anyway I have emailed my friend to is the parliamentary candidate for my area to see if I can get a preservation order slapped on the rest of the trees - the trees were there long before the houses were built:rolleyes: Mind you, I can never understand why someone would buy a house because they like the trees and then chop those same trees down? The folks who moved into grandma's old house (opposite from me) chopped down the lovely sycamore tree within a week of moving in - I have a feeling that the two apple and two pear trees were also chopped down too:mad:
